Figa the Stray lands on her little feet

Figa the Stray lands on her little feet

Figa the dachshund came into us as a stray dog found wandering the streets, all alone. The dog wardens at Sedgemoor Council tried to trace her owners, unsuccessfully, and after 8 days she became ours to rehome. Before this could happen she had to go into our vets Ian at Clarendon Road to have some much needed dental work and had 20 rotten teeth extracted! We shared her story and braveness on our face book page which was shared with a dachshund rescue site and was seen by a kind lady called Rachel living in Cheshire who fell in love with her and she has definately landed on her little feet. This is what she said "Thanks very much for letting us adopt Figa. She travelled all the way back perfectly, no problems at all, well only one which was not being able to see out of the windows :-) She's settled right in, loves going out for walks, she's been really good with the cats, chickens, rabbit and horses and not bothered by them at all. She loves nothing more than snuggling under a blanket in her bed during the day, or sleeping under my duvet at night. We took her for her other vaccination today and she was as good as gold. She has really settled and is the perfect dog. Thanks again."
